Management Team

Each member of our Senior Management team has an extensive knowledge of the club and as a collective unit aims to continually improve the experience of each and every person associated with BRFC.


General Manager

Derek brings over 30 years of golf club experience, which includes 17 years working overseas, and is tasked with bringing all departments together to work for the common goal of continually improving the membership experience at Bahrain Rugby Football Club.

Derek will be seen regularly throughout the club and personally looks forward to welcoming you the next time you visit BRFC.


Sports Coordinator

Lindsey is responsible for the day to day management of all sports activities at the club. He is in charge of pitch hire, kit and equipment as well as heading up the organisation of various sporting events and tours.

Before Bahrain, Lindsey came to us from his hometown club Hawick RFC and he had represented the South of Scotland, Scotland U20’s and the Scotland Club XV.


Projects and Maintenance Manager

John will be coordinating our 16 man Maintenance team here at the club in the drive to continuously improve the experience for Members in and around our facilities.

John brings with him over 35 years of experience in construction and engineering and has managed large projects all over the U.K. and the Middle East.

He will no doubt be an invaluable addition to the club and we look forward to the exciting work ahead.


Finance Manager

Gilphi has served as the Club’s Senior Accountant for a number of years now and adds the financial management angle to all of our operations.

Often in the Background Gilphi’s role sees him having an input into most everything we do and as a result, he has managed to put countless things in place saving the club a small fortune annually.
