Last Month our very own General Manager, Derek Mckenzie visited Tanzania to ascend the world’s highest free-standing mountain – Mount Kilimanjaro. He wished to mark his 50th Year on this planet by giving something back, and thus he set his eyes on this momentous challenge and whilst doing so, aimed to raise awareness and money for Prostate Cancer UK.
“Brutal, awesome, torture, challenge, pain, enjoyment, despair and hope. It was without doubt the hardest thing I have ever done, but it was so worth it! To have spent a week above the clouds in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been was fantastic and to take on this challenge in aid of such an important cause made it even more special. Thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout.”
