Junior Sports Update – November

We are delighted to announce that we are now in the process of welcoming back our Junior Sports sections to training at BRFC!

In line with our continuous commitment to tackling COVID-19, we are taking a phased approach to bringing back our Junior Sports in line with the guidelines and regulations. Management and our fantastic coaches have undertaken a careful and measured approach and the decision has been made to begin a closed trial of Junior Netball training starting this Thursday 5th November for Years 7, 8 & 9.

During this trial period, sessions will be closely monitored and reviewed to ensure they are conducted in a safe and proper manner in accordance to guidelines and regulations. Any feedback from parents and coaches will be welcomed.

We have made the choice to resume the older junior age groups first, to ensure that all of the protocols that ensure the safety of the children, coaches, families and our wider community are manageable.

Once the sections are safely integrated back into their regular training schedule, we will begin our next phase, where all sports and age groups will return in a similar format in the coming weeks.

As of Thursday, Members under the age of 16 will also be able to gain access to our Pool for lane swimming under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Time slots in our pool can be booked by emailing

We are persistently striving to offer the safest and best possible experience for you and your family here at BRFC and further operational updates will be shared in the very near future. We would like to thank you for your continued support and patience during these times.
