Guests & Visitors

Members Guests

  • Members may sign in guests at any time before 11:00 pm, although we do ask that regular visiting guests apply for membership.

  • Signing in guests is simple: Present the guest to our Reception Team, who, after receiving the guest fee (currently BD2/—per adult) and seeing the guest's photo ID, will complete the relevant paperwork and allow admission to the club. It should be noted that each active member may sign in a maximum of two guests per day.

  • Guests are not permitted to remain in the club after the departure of the member who signed them in. Members are responsible for their guest’s behaviour at all times.

  • Dependents within a Family Membership are not authorised to sign in guests (including those on Student Membership), and anyone under the age of 16 years old using the club must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • Members guests are not permitted to use the gym or sports facilities without formal consent from club management. Please also note that the last entry for members guest/s is 11:00pm.

Reciprocal Members

We have entered into agreements with a number of Expatriate organisations and accept their members as guests via a reciprocal agreement.

These organisations currently include:

  • The British Club of Bahrain
  • The Dilmun Club
  • The Bahrain Yacht Club

For persons holding an active membership with any of these clubs, a BD1 fee is payable to our reception team who will ensure that the person in question is properly signed in as a guest of their club.

It should be noted that reciprocal club members must present their valid membership card, cannot sign in guest/s, or use the gym and sports facilities.

Overseas Family & Friends Visiting

This pass is designed to enable a member to sign in their overseas visitors for two-week periods (for a maximum of one month) allowing them to come and go from the club without the need for the sponsoring member to be present throughout their stay.

Along with completing the Overseas Guest Pass form (available at reception), members need also provide the accompanying documents for their guests:

  • Copies of each guest’s short-stay visa
  • Passport style photos

Upon the successful submission of the Overseas Guest Pass form, the member will be required to pay the appropriate guest fees (Family BD16.5/- Single BD11/-), and only then each guest will be provided with a guest card which will permit them access into the club.
It should be noted that the sponsoring member remains responsible for the behaviour of these guests when they are on the club’s premises.

If the members' guests wish to extend for a further two weeks the member must sign a new Overseas Guest Pass form and submit it to reception.

Visiting Military

Our club has a proud tradition of hosting military personnel on temporary assignment to or visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain. As such the Club maintains an open-door policy to these groups allowing admission to the club’s premises for BD2 upon production of a valid military identification card.

It should be noted that military guests are not permitted to sign in guests.
Longer-term military visitors are encouraged to take out membership of the club (especially if they wish to participate in the club’s sporting programs) with special arrangements in place to ensure that they are charged on a pro-rata basis only for the duration of their stay.

Match Days & Open Days

On certain days of the year, (usually alongside larger social events or live/televised sporting events) we may declare the day an ‘open day’. Open days mean that visitors may pay a fixed admission charge to enter the club's premises without the need to be formally signed in by a club member.

Similarly, the club has an open day where membership requirements and admission fees may be waived. Please check with our reception team.
