Guests & Visitors

Whilst we are predominantly a members-only club, guests of both members and the club are a fact of life. In each case different regulations may apply, please check below to see if you fit into any of these categories.

General Policies: Members Guests

Members may sign in guests at any time before 11:00pm, although we do ask that regular visiting guests apply for membership.
Signing in guests is simple: Present the guest to our Reception Team, who, after receiving the guest fee (currently BD2/—per adult) and seeing the guest's photo ID, will complete the relevant paperwork and allow admission to the club.
Guests are not permitted to remain in the club after the departure of the member who signed them in. Members are responsible for their guest’s behaviour at all times.
Dependents within a Family Membership are not authorised to sign in guests (including those on Student Membership), and anyone under the age of 16 years old using the club must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Members guests are not permitted to use the gym or sports facilities without formal consent from club management. Please also note that the last entry for members guest/s is 11:00pm.

New Guest Limitations

Due to recent market changes and an unprecedented increase in club activity, the Committee has reviewed our current capacity and guest protocols. To ensure that our facilities remain comfortable and accessible for all members, we are implementing the following changes to our guest policy, effective immediately.
To manage the volume of visitors, the number of guests allowed per membership has been revised:

Single Memberships: Allowed one (1) guest per visit.
Family & Couple Memberships: Allowed one (1) guest per adult per visit.

Note: Both adults must be present in the club if two guests are being signed in simultaneously on one couple of family membership.

Member Responsibility & Conduct

We would like to reiterate that members are fully responsible for the conduct and behaviour of their guests at all times.

Presence Requirement: Guests are only permitted on the premises while the sponsoring member is present.
Departure: If the member leaves the club, their guest must also depart immediately.
Compliance: Failure to adhere to these rules or any lapse in guest behaviour will result in disciplinary action for the sponsoring member.

New Member Probationary Period

To help maintain the integrity of our community, all new members are subject to an automatic six-month probation period. During this six-month window, new members are not permitted to sign in any guests.

Status: These changes will remain in place until further notice.

Visiting Military

Our club has a proud tradition of hosting military personnel on temporary assignment to or visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain. As such the Club maintains an open-door policy to these groups allowing admission to the club’s premises for BD2 upon production of a valid military identification card.

It should be noted that military guests are not permitted to sign in guests.
Longer-term military visitors are encouraged to take out membership of the club (especially if they wish to participate in the club’s sporting programs) with special arrangements in place to ensure that they are charged on a pro-rata basis only for the duration of their stay.

Match Days & Open Days

On certain days of the year, (usually alongside larger social events or live/televised sporting events) we may declare the day an ‘open day’. Open days mean that visitors may pay a fixed admission charge to enter the club's premises without the need to be formally signed in by a club member. The entry fee for all non-members or reciprocal members during an Open Day (e.g. a senior rugby game) will be BD 2.500 (incl. of VAT).

Similarly, the club has an open day where membership requirements and admission fees may be waived. Please check with our reception team.
